What happens in a session?

Your first session will be an initial assessment session and here we will have 70 minutes to discuss the current difficulties you are experiencing and to discuss your therapeutic needs.  We will set therapeutic goals, and this will enable me to come up with a bespoke therapy plan designed to help you reach those goals.  The therapy plan will take into account your specific difficulties and needs and will be led by evidenced based theraputic strategies.  This treatment plan will generally be discussed in following sessions as sometimes, depending upon the complexity of the problem, it can take a few sessions to develop.

All ongoing sessions last approximately 50 minutes.  In these sessions we will focus on strategies and interventions to achieve your therapy goals and discuss anything else that might have come up for you that you feel would be beneficial to talk about.
